The Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 990 V5 “Botanical Green” is an exclusive collaboration between the New York City fashion and lifestyle brand and New Balance. This design was released as part of Aime Leon Dore's “Life in the Balance” collection that also included a 990 V2 model. The hype surrounding the release caused the cancellation of the brand’s planned in-store release. The “Botanical Green” colorway of the 990 V5 features plush green suede overlays on the eyelets, mid-panel, toe cap, and heel. A reflective light blue “N” branding detail sits on the mid-panel and an Aime Leon Dore product tag is situated underneath the green leather overlay on the collar. The shoe is equipped with a contrasting light blue mesh base. An Encap cushioned midsole provides the all-day comfort familiar with New Balance 990 models.
